How the request process works
Use this template built with Zapier Interfaces, Tables, and Workflows to receive and track requests:
- Request form: Team members fill out a form to submit their new request based on their request type whether for video production, content creation, software/IT support, vacation approvals, or other service request.
- Notification system: Once a request is submitted, an automatic notification is sent to the admin, alerting them of the new request.
- Request tracking: The request is then added to Zapier Tables, where admins can view and manage all incoming requests, change statuses, and leave notes.
- Status updates: Admins update the status of requests directly in the table. Each status update triggers a notification to the requester, keeping them informed of the progress.
Requesters have access to a Zapier Interface that displays their submitted requests along with the current status of each. While the current template uses unique URL parameters to display only a requester's requests, you can lock the interface down to only certain users allowing them to only see their own submitted requests.
